There are a lot of Ashiyu (foot bath) points in Japan.
You can enjoy it with your clothes on. Just take off your shoes and socks.
You can also talking with other people and seeing wonderful sights in some area.
Today I’ll introduce Manjiro’s foot bath. It is near Ashizuri cape in Kochi Prefecture.
The seating capacity is about only 30 people, but you can see beautiful Hakusan Sea Cave designated as a natural treasure through the glass.

The traffic isn’t convenient very much in Ashizuri Area and we didn’t enough time to go ourselves so we joined packaged tour.

This foot bath is opened from 8:00-19:00 except Wednesday since 2009. Wednesday is closed. (Please check latest information)
It is free, if you need towel you can buy it for 100 yen.
Note: Let’s use good manner for everyone’s comfortable. Don’t speak too loud and move over and make room for somebody, please. Don’t make too much wave to take a foot bath not to wet others’ clothes. And please don’t leave towel around foot bath.

You can go down footpath to Hakusan Cave that is one of the largest sea cave(hight: 16m width: 17m) in Japan. You had better wear Sneakers.
It is danger in bad weather, so you shouldn’t go down there.
